Western Caribbean
Royal Caribbean Cruise Feb 8 - 15, 2004
Mariner of the Seas
Stops: Labadee, Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman, and
Cozumel.
This ship was launched just a few months before our trip.
It was one of the largest at the time, and was complete with
a mall running down the center of the ship. It was strange
seeing parades in the mall from our room at night. The ship
has an ice rink, with about 4 shows during the cruise. We
got to skate during the staff's off time. The upper decks
had a miniature golf course and a basketball court. It was
like being on land rather than onboard a large ship.
Our room with light on. Third level.
We could look
across the mall and see people in their rooms on the other
side of the ship.
Room overlooks the mall.
There was a Ben and Jerry's ice cream store and a coffee
shop in the mall.
